  • I do believe that it was a Democrat controlled house and senate that passed the first stimulus package in Sept. '08 and sent it to Bush to sign. So all of you who blame Bush solely for the first stimulus package had better get out your forks and dig into that big plate of crow.

  • no - you do. 1998 - Secretary of HUD Andrew Cuomo under Bill "The Sperminator" Clinton pushed an administration mandate that banks had to stop declining to loan to people who couldn't afford the home because it was prejudicial toward "people of color". Thus began the sub prime mortgage programs.
